FASTWELL’s Incoloy 825 is a Ni-Fe-Cr alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper and titanium. Nickel steel 825 alloy’s chemical composition is designed in order to offer brilliant resistance to many corrosive environments. Alloy 825 material has improved resistance to aqueous corrosion. Incoloy 825 UNS N08825 has excellent resistance to both reducing and oxidizing acids, to stress-corrosion cracking, and to localized attack such as pitting and crevice corrosion. Alloy 825 pipes and tubes are especially resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids. This alloy is used for chemical processing, pollution-control equipment, oil and gas well piping, nuclear fuel reprocessing, acid production, and pickling equipment.
ASTM B163 Incoloy 825 all forms are as per the ISO 17025, ISO 9001:2008, 18001:2007, 14001:2004 standards such as Sheet, Plate, Bar, Pipe & Tube welded as well as seamless, Fittings (like flanges, slip-ons, blinds, weld-necks, lapjoints, long welding necks, socket welds, elbows, tees, stub-ends, returns, caps, crosses, reducers, and pipe nipples), Weld Wire (AWS Classification: ERNiFeCr-1 y ENiCrMo-3), Wire.
Characteristics of Incoloy 825 products are as follows-
- Excellent resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids
- Good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking
- Reasonable resistance to localized attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion
- Very resistant to sulfuric and phosphoric acids
- Excellent mechanical properties at both room and elevated temperatures up to approx. 1000°F
- Suitable for pressure-vessel use at wall temperatures up to 800°F
